Framer Pricing Explained: What a Framer Website Really Costs

Explore more articles from The Omis Blog.
Framer's paid site plans cost $10 a month (Basic) and $30 a month (Pro) when billed yearly, with a free plan for testing and custom pricing for Enterprise. Most business websites need Pro. On top of the plan, budget for extra editor seats, add-ons like extra languages, and the cost of design and development if you hire someone to build it.
Prices below are from Framer's pricing page as of October 2026. Framer updates its plans often, so check the current page before you buy.
Framer Site Plans at a Glance
Free: $0
Good for testing and personal projects. You get a framer.website address, Framer branding, and 1 GB of bandwidth. You can't connect a custom domain, so it isn't an option for a business site.
Basic: $10 a month, billed yearly
Custom domain (free domain on yearly billing)
Up to 30 pages
2 CMS collections and 1,000 CMS items
50 GB bandwidth
30 days of analytics history
Basic works for a small brochure site or landing page with little or no blog.
Pro: $30 a month, billed yearly
150 pages, expandable to 700 for $20 per extra 100 pages
10 CMS collections, expandable to 40
2,500 CMS items, expandable to 40,000
100 GB bandwidth, with extra bandwidth at $40 per 100 GB
Redirects, staging, and branching with previews
90 days of analytics history
Pro is the right plan for most business websites. Redirects alone make it necessary if you're moving from another platform and want to keep your Google rankings.
Enterprise: custom pricing
For large companies that need custom limits, security reviews, advanced permissions, and dedicated support.
Monthly billing costs more than the yearly prices above, so paying yearly is worth it once you're sure the site is staying on Framer.
Costs Beyond the Plan
Editor seats
The workspace owner and viewers are free. Additional full editors cost $20 per editor per month, and content-only editors (CMS, localization, and on-page editing) cost $10 per editor per month. If several people on your team update the site, these add up faster than the plan itself.
Add-ons
Translation locales: $20 per locale, up to 20.
Convert: A/B testing, funnels, and event analytics, priced by usage.
Advanced hosting: for running multiple sites under one domain or custom headers.
Extra bandwidth, pages, and CMS capacity: on Pro, as listed above.
Bandwidth
Image-heavy sites and sites with video use more bandwidth. Framer lets you go over your limit for one month with a warning, then asks you to upgrade. Compressing images and hosting long videos elsewhere keeps this under control.
Templates and plugins
Framer templates range from free to around $100 or more. Some plugins and integrations charge their own subscriptions.
What It Costs to Have a Framer Website Built
The plan is the cheap part. The bigger cost is designing and building the site. Typical ranges in the US:
DIY with a template: the template cost plus your time.
Freelancer customizing a template: about $1,000 to $5,000.
Custom Framer site from an agency: about $5,000 to $40,000 for most small and mid-size businesses, depending on pages, copywriting, CMS setup, and animations.
Larger custom builds: $40,000 and up for big sites with many templates, integrations, and localization.

Is Framer Worth the Price?
For marketing sites, often yes. Framer sites are fast, look polished, and are easy for non-technical teams to edit. Hosting, security updates, and a global CDN are included, so there are no separate hosting or plugin maintenance bills like you'd have with WordPress. We cover why it caught on so fast in Why Framer Became So Popular Fast.
Framer is a weaker fit if you need complex ecommerce, heavy custom functionality, or thousands of pages. In those cases Shopify or WordPress may be the better choice. Our Framer vs Webflow vs WordPress guide compares them side by side.
Which Framer Plan Should You Choose?
One-page site or campaign landing page: Basic.
Business website with a blog, services, or case studies: Pro.
Moving from another platform: Pro, for redirects.
Multiple languages: Pro plus locales.
Large company with security requirements: Enterprise.
We build on Framer for many of our clients, including Mitchell Brown, an insurance advisor for high-net-worth clients, and Kona Kai Oasis, a boutique resort in Key West. If you want a Framer site built right the first time, our Framer development team can help.
